More about Us

WHAT do children learn in the Kids in Motion programme?

  • In the Kids in Motion programme toddlers and gymnasts will follow lessons with progression in different motor skills, leading up to gymnastic skills.
  • The toddlers and gymnasts will also learn basic gymnastic skills.

This being said, please do not expect your toddler to come home and be able to do a cartwheel or handstand.

We use the building blocks to lead up to the gymnastic skills, and then they will be able to do it with ease.

The classes for 2023 will start Monday 16 January 2023 until 30 November 2023.

Depending on the children’s ages and skill level they are divided into different groups.  There are classes on Monday – Thursday afternoons

There will be no classes on public holidays or during school holidays.  Normally we give one extra class for the gymnasts that have class on a Monday, due to the fact that there are more public holidays on Mondays.

Our classes for the terms always starts on the Monday of the week, when the schools reopen after the holidays.  Except for the second term when we also start on the same day that the schools reopen.

Terms for 2023:

  • Term 1:  16 January – 24 March
  • Term 2:  12 April – 23 June
  • Term 3:  17 July – 29 September
  • Term 4:  9 October – 30 November

When I cannot be there for a specific class, alternative arrangements will be made.  Normally we do that lesson during the next holiday.
